Abstract
The prepn. of glycosyl piperidinecarbodithioates, e.g. I (R = H, Bz), is described. Glycosidation of I with glycosides or thioglycosides, e.g. II (R1 = H), gave the corresponding oligosaccharides, e.g. II (R1 = 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-b-D-glucopyranosyl). [on SciFinder (R)]
